A series of twelve professional development modules for teachers of reading, spelling and writing. The content of LETRS includes how students learn to read and write, the reasons why some children fail to learn, and the instructional strategies best supported by research. Module 1 (The Challenge of Learning to Read) is a prerequisite to all other modules.
