Technology Integration

Why should my district use the CAIU for Instructional Technology Professional Development?

Effective technology integration must occur across the curriculum in ways that research shows enhance and deepen the learning process. Specifically, it must support four key components of learning: connection to real-world experts, active engagement, frequent interaction and feedback, and participation in groups.

Effective technology integration is achieved when the use of technology is transparent and routine, and when technology supports curricular goals.
