This student specific service is available to assist with the implementation of devices for students with alternative and augmentative communication needs. The CAIU AC Coach works directly with the team and the student. Coaching Notes/Action Plans are shared with the Director of Special Education and team members. Coaches assist with installation of software, customization of vocabulary and display, staff and student training regarding use of the device, modeling and guided practice, and support to parents in the school setting.
