The CAIU Transportation Department serves the specialized transportation needs of both Early Intervention and school-age students in our region.  School districts choose whether to take advantage of the cooperative transportation services that we offer, or to provide for transportation themselves or with their preferred contractor.  We currently have 6 contractors utilizing about 80 vehicles, mostly passenger vans, to serve in excess of 600 students each year.  Our goal is to provide for safe, efficient, customer-friendly service that compliments the school day, and ensures that all students are transported to and from the home and the classroom in a professional manner.
